Not a bad fight for Grandpa Golovkin

 

GGG stops him, even at his age. Ryder is good though, was expecting more against Canelo

I doubt this will happen. Pretty sure GGG is retired.

 

Ryder isn't exactly young......you're half right, GGG will retire......but he'll retire John Ryder.

 

Seems like a dumb fight for Ryder, don't understand it. He's not going to get much real credit for beating a post-40 Golovkin, but could also get KO'd. He still has a shot at getting a belt depending on what Canelo does.

 

I think age has caught up with GGG

Has GGG himself confirmed this? As far as I can see GGG is retired in all but name.

I’m still absolutely convinced he wants a goodbye fight in his home country since he hasn’t been there in over a decade for a fight. I think he beats Ryder pretty badly even though he is shot.

 

GGG has aged as fast as his hairline has betrayed him.

Of course he'll get credit for beating Golovkin it'll be the best win of his career despite Golovkin's age. Golovkin has only officially lost to Canelo and even though Golovkin lost to Canelo legit in their last fight, it wasn't like it was a blowout Golovkin won near enough every round after the 8th round and made it close.

Golovkin is a Hall of Famer it would be a fantastic name on Ryder's resume if he pulled it off.
