Until he's knee deep in with Geale, who's workrate will have him out of sorts throwing wildly.
Geale wins a comfortable UD. :good

Sox u are seriously and naively underating Golovkin. I rate Geale highly but Golovkin is that good that he would go with Martinez right now no problem. Its not just me, anyone in the know rates this guy very highly.

Totally agree. The easiest way to become insignificant is hide yourself away on someone else's card.

Grange need to promote, promote and promote some more, a bill headed by Geale defending his legit title.

    And you are underrating Geale.
    We'll agree to disagree.

If and when it happens, we'll lay our cards on the table. :deal

I'm not, i rate Geale highly but i think Golovkin beats him. But spot on, we'll discuss it in more detail if it happens.

More we talk about it the more I like to see the fight happen, but dont hold your breath a lot of Middleweights seem to be avoiding Golovkin, and I dont deny his Class his last fight with Tapia should not be taken lightly Tapia was no mug he did go the distance with with the highly ranked Trout and Golovkin disposed of Tapia in 3 rounds,do not underestimate his Class the only reason people doubt it is none of the Big names want to fight Him.!!!

Im not trying to be be condescending when I say this but you should really have some bit of an idea of what you are talking about before you voice your opinions on things.

For starters, if you paid any clue to GG's career you would know he hasn't performed in front of a crowd of over 500 in 3 years. You would also know that Andy Lee is a bigger draw than Sergio Martinez and it was him that filled out his last show against Dziniziruk.

As regards to how Golovkin is a handy pay day (absolute ignorance on you part) he can't get a HBO date like Lee (who is the biggest HBO draw bar maybe Paul Williams, which is debatable).

Also you clearly have no idea how good Golovkin is and have probably never seen him fight before because he has beat better boxers than Geale (like you alluded to) in the amateurs, knocking out Bute, beating Andre Dirrell, Lee and Matvey Korobov. He is currently being officially ducked by a far more esteemed fighter in Felix Sturm and another boxer I, along with many others who follow the 160 division, agree in Hassan N'dam N'Jikam. Felix Surm also beat Sylvester far more comprehensively than Geale did.

So, quite frankly, you sound like an ignorant Geale nuthugger because you think one of the best middleweights in the world is a handy pay day when he couldn't be any more the oppposite if he tried. You have absolutely no idea what you are talking about. Educate yourself. I like Geale but you haven't a clue about the division.

    This is a sensible post

  12. Geale would be all balls, no brains taking on Golovkin. Not that I'd be against it, sometimes boxing is great like that.

Gennady Golovkins own words say Mundine ran away from a possible fight last year to take on Ryan Waters and Garth Wood.

This is more or less what ive been saying. Golovkin left Universum because they promised him a fight with stable mate Sturm for the WBA title but messed him about and didn't follow through with it. They knew the risk of their cash cow and huge draw in Sturm losing to Golovkin was very high and Golovkin wouldn't sell out stadiums because they hadn't promoted him very well up to that point. The most avoided boxer at 160. Pity he went the WBA route as its messy at the moment. If he gets the chance and the big fights he will clean out the division. He is not just a puncher, excellent technical ability.

Geale has beaten the better fighters in the pro ranks though lets be honest. Karmazin and Sylvester are better than anyone Golovkin has on his pro ledger, slight ignorance on your part. Golovkin would destroy both of them i think and i would pick him to beat Geale also. Manic work rate wont be enough to beat Golovkin.
