I said to a member of the press the other day, this fight is a farce. If he wanted, Haye could roll through Harrison in one round. Its simply an easy money fight and one that I won't be paying to watch.
You all sound like a bunch of old women moaning about the bus being late. The bottom line is that although the fight is seen as a joke by us boxing fans, it will generate huge interest among casual fans and the general public. As pathetic as Harrison is, the majority of the general public will be able to tell you who he is. If it does take place, I would put my life savings on it getting more PPV buys than any of Haye's other fights. Maybe there would only be a few "true" boxing fans that would be willing to pay for it, but these fans are in the minority. It's your average Joes that make up the nuymbers. By the way, calling yourself a "true" boxing fan because you have a different opinion on a certain matter is pathetic.
I dont think it would be so easy. I think it would be a crazy fight for Haye to take at this point in time.
im looking forward to it,think it will be a good fight, audley can put them together when hes in the mood, he could be a banana skin , though i see a simalar result to ruiz, but nothings certain with h/weights,hope it happens.
Are you his bank manager or something? If a fight is a joke then it's a joke. Why on earth should we care whether he's able to con a lot of people to waste their money on a 1 or 2 minute blowout and why should we think it's clever or a good thing? Harrison's crap, how about if Haye ressurects Williams afterwards and then makes a nice little nest-egg to retire on by fighting Tyson Furey?
