Does that mean we can't accuse you of not having a life and such?

Hopefully you can stick around for while and or post a bit more frequently. Even random, Dave Drop In posts are better than nothing. :D

Lol! People have just gotten so accustomed to these 6’6 250lb Boxer/Punchers over the last two decades that they somehow got in their head Foreman HAD to be this behemoth monster the way he was knocking guys out back then. MAYBE for 1970… but not today.

Couldn't quite get a fix on either for Usyk (too many confounding variables) so went for average official weigh-in numbers, which curiously came out as being within half a pound of Foreman's registered weight for the 1968 Olympics when he was 19 years old.

Then just made sure the statue reflected an Endomorph (rather than a Mesomorph) body-type ;)

Thought it would be fun to bring this one back.

What guy Usyk has fought or could fight do people think most resembles Foreman in terms of ability and stylistically?

One thing for sure, Foreman would not go 24 with the Bodybuilder pre or past the morbid obese Mexican Taco stand owner.......it would be over quick.. I would put money on that..

It's a 50/50 match. Usyk having real prime combining athleticism and experience (as opposed to George being late starter and retiring at 28) makes for a more consistent performances across the board I reckon. Best of Foreman has old-school repertoire that would surprise even Usyk I reckon, and he could be brilliant when Moore's and Saddler's influence shone through.

Rewatching Foreman-Lyle times again, I just cannot comprehend how granite of a chin George had at that age. Pure rock solid.

Isn't Lyle the guy that dropped Foreman a couple of times?

Ye, twice. Still wondering how he got up after one of them where he hit the canvas almost head-first. Hellacious shots.
