    One of my favorite fighters ever. His mental, and physical toughness was amazing. RIP.

    The OP says, “He went peacefully, surrounded by his loved ones “. Sounds like his family knew something but maybe chose to keep it private.
    Like you said, 76 isn’t as old as it used to be, but his body went through a lot over the decades, and he was a big man. No doubt he was way overweight for his age.
    He’s still one of the most successful and iconic athletes in history; not just boxing, but in all of sport. A truly larger than life figure,and safe to say that there will never be another like him. RIP
