George Foreman Vs Rocky Maricano

  1. it is not a fact, it is a product OF your great imagination, foreman was bigger, stronger,FASTER, harder puncher, he had BETTER CHIN THAN MARCIANO, YES ABSOLUTELY BETTER CHIN,(FOREMAN WAS DOWN BY HWs, and WHEN HE WAS TIRED, MARCIANO WAS DOWN BY A PAST PRIME AND CRUISER WALCOTT, FOREMAN HAD IRON CHIN EARLY, MARCIANO WOULD NOT GO MORE THAN 3 ROUNDS AGAINST FOREMAN), FOREMAN HAD LONGER REACH, AND FOREMAN WOULD TAKE EVERY SHOT FROM MARCIANO( ROCKY WAS INACCURATE LIKE THE HELL, HE MIGHT NOT HIT FOREMAN EVEN IN THE FACE, MAYBE IN HIS ARMS, AND AN ARM OF FOREMAN WAS LIKE A HALF OF ROCKY LMAO. MARCIANO WOULD BE HURT WITH THE FIRST GOOD SHOT FROM FOREMAN, PLAIN AND SIMPLE .ROCKY WOULD BE THE WEAKER MAN, THE SMALLER MAN AND HE MIGHT NOT RUN FROM FOREMAN, AND FOREMAN HAD THE WORST STYLE FOR ROCKY, NO FIGHTER IN THE HISTORY WOULD GIVE TO MARCIANO THE BEATING THAT FOREMAN WOULD GIVE HIM, NOT EVEN LISTON OR TYSON,IT IS = NO CHANCE. FOREMAN BY MURDER

:dealNot a fact but highly probable. Marciano's best bet is to get in the later rounds and invest in bodypunching as early as possible. When George is gassed then the Rock will crumble him. Then again, George does well when guys come at him so that will play into Foreman's hands. Foreman's best bet is to try to finish the fight early and if he doesn't then I favor Rocky. No one breaks Rocky's will not even a killer like prime Foreman.

It is a fact that Marciano hit harder than Lyle, Ali and Young and had greater stamina...George was easy to hit and a young Foreman avoided Quarry who was almost 6" and 190-200 lbs because they knew he would be exposed...If you look at all the punches the 5"7 Quawi landed on Foreman easily and exchanged Marciano's killer power, Foreman's Big ass would fall like it did vs Lyle but he would stay down like he did vs Ali and this is a FACT

Foreman was a BIG open Target

Beating a shopworn Joe Frazier?....Joe"King" Roman....Ken Norton...who had trouble with punchers..and then being KO'd by a past his prime Ali in one of the dumbest fights ever fought...Foreman said in interviews that he fought a dumb fight!!!

Another thing to keep in mind is that Ali had no problem in tying Foreman up. George was strong of course but his strength gets exaggerated. Rock was no slouch himslef in that regard, he had that low centre of gravity and used it well. George had a lot of flaws and if Rock survives the early onslaught then George would get systematically taken apart.

foreman became "unbeatable" to a new generation of historians who grew up during the "george foreman mean lean grill machine" revival.

I grew up reading about how much of a unfulfiled, wasted talent foreman was in the 1970's, then watched george return to the ring as a novalty act nobody took seriously who got chance after chance because he was good copy. In hindsight foreman did do well to beat moorer (for a shot he did not earn), i take my hat off, but at no point was george considered the best, there was always beter heavyweights in the 1990's.

There was always beter heavyweights in the 1990s and there was always beter heavyweights in the 1970s than george foreman.

    Very bad match-up for Rocky,,,,,,,,,,,
I believe George would have never gone all-out vs the Rock.
Just jab down, because Rocky with his low-center of gravity would have not given George the opportunity to throw
    the right hand bombs.

If George used his length/distance, can't see Rocky winning.

  15. obviously it is the only truth, it would not be even a close fight, marciano had absolutely nothing to beat foreman. it would be absolutely a beating.
(funny because 4 poor guys think that repeating 150 comments marciano would get advantage ):rofl:lol:
cus damato was a master of the boxing and the styles,(who know more on boxing than these poor amateurs by a mile) and knew and he said that marciano would have no chance against foreman.
