More stamina, more heart, better defence.

Big power, durable, awkward, insane workrate. He has a shot.

Cus was a great trainer and there are many other great trainers that all contradict each other. Cus never even fought, he knew his boxing but nobody is right 100% of the time.

marciano's style is all wrong for foreman unless he's gonna dance and stay away for 3 rounds or the only other option which no one but ali woulda tried - this will be like the chuvalo fight - fight tough but overpowered in the end.

Ali won every second of the foreman fight. He overpowered him in the clinches, took his innacurate punches and responded with straight accurate punches.

Foremans ability to push Marciano about is being overstated.

  4. joe frazier was a pressure fighter like marciano, joe did mor epressure, he was bigger he was 29 pounds heavier than rocky, he had longer reach, he had great power, he had better defence than marciano, he was faster than marciano, he had more heart than marciano, he had equal stamina than marciano if not more.
foreman was bigger, stronger, faster, harder puncher, he did cut the ring pretty well, he had longer reach,he had much more physical strength, he had iron chin early,he had great heart, he did show it against lyle, foreman had the upper to kill marciano, and rocky was very short, freman would push back rocky and he would be frustrated. because he could not hit him in the face, ron lyle was much bigger than marciano, much stronger, much more muscular, he was 35 pounds heavier,he was faster and he had much longer reach, great difference. marciano might not run, because he was very slow, and he might not beat foreman exchanging blows because foreman was bigger, stronger and harder puncher, with much longer reach, plus foreman had great chin.
is not matter the stamina, marciano had nothing to beat foreman, foreman was wrong for rocky, styles make fights. rocky would be tko in 2 rounds.

Ali who fought at lightheavy as an amateur had no problem tying George up, he handled him in the clinches.

No way are Ron lyle or George Foreman far stronger.

Your analysis of Fraziers quality's in comparison to Marciano is laughable.

I think his height and crouching style could work in his favor. i would favor George stopping him but nothing concrete.

You exaggerate everything to a huge degree.

    Very true this :deal

The only reason Foreman tried to push anyone back is because he was incapable of fighting inside and felt very uncomfortable when anyone was getting too close because he felt vunerable because once you were close hitting George was pretty easy and he couldn't hit you back - he needed to push you out to the right distance for him because he didn't have a clue how else to do it - he didn't really walk people back behind his punches or control fights because everytime he pushed Frazier, Frazier just came back at him, same with Chuvalo - the pushes were timed to just set you back for a split second so he could have the time to wing one of his arking heymakers at you before you could get inside it - Marciano would be in his chest all the time and outside of his uppercuts when he tried those

    Very true? Total crap.

Everything that follows is completely false by you after agreeing with such a false statement. This is the problem with fanatics, they simply feel if they repeat revisionist history enough it becomes fact.

  8.:patsch what a crapy post...lmao ali was a man by far bigger than marciano, is not matter if ali fought at lhw when he was a kid, and i was a mw when i was 16 years old, now i am a hw... what a stupid testament...
ali was 6´3 and 216 pounds when he faced foreman, ali had much better chin than marciano, ali had much faster hands and legs than marciano, ali was much smarter, he had much better defence, he had much longer reach and he had a wrong style for george, what a stupid comparison ,and yes, foreman and lyle was much stronger men than rocky. marciano is not even a hw, he is a little cruiser. he weighed even 178 and 179 pounds in some fights, it is ridiculous hahahahaha. and joe frazier was much better and bigger version of marciano, plain and simple.
this thread has no sense, marciano would have absolutely no chance against foreman.

(the only time that anyone saw fear in the eyes of ali, was after of the first round against george)

  9. great post my man:deal they think that repeating 100 times these posts, marciano would get any chance lmao :rofl

No, Ali was taller than Marciano. You are contradicting what you said in another thread about height/size.

I know very well Ali's quality's as a fighter, there wasn't a comparison in that regard.

Strength is more than size, there are 180lb wrestlers that would ragdoll Foreman. It's besides the point.

Frazier was not simply a bigger version of Marciano...Rock actually had advantages over Joe in certain areas.

Bottom line is that Ali handled Foreman physically, Foremans supposed huge strength advantage is overstated.

  11. WRONG!! ALI WAS TALLER AND MUCH BIGGER THAN MARCIANO, ALI WAS 6´3 AND 212-230 POUNDS, THE BIGGEST ROCKY WAS 5´11 AND 189 POUNDS. MY COMPARISON WAS ALI-TYSON, ARE YOU COMPARING TYSON WITH MARCIANO?:rofl TYSON WAS A NATURAL 217 POUNDER OF PURE MUSCLE. LAMOTTA(WHO SAW MARCIANO AND TYSON) SAID THAT TYSON WAS MUCH BIGGER AND MUCH STRONGER THAN MARCIANO.
YOU ARE SAYING THAT MARCIANO WOULD HAVE CHANCE AGAINST ROCKY BASING ON THE FIGHT AGAINST ALI, WHO WAS BETTER THAN MARCIANO BY A MILE, AND HE WAS A FAST STYLIST WITH IRON CHIN,LONG REACH AND GREAT DEFENCE , NOT A MINI SLOW CRUISER,SHORT PUNCHER, EASY TO HIT AND PREDICTABLE LIKE THE HELL,

IT WAS NOT JUST SIZE, FOREMAN WAS MUCH BIGGER, MUCH STRONGER, HE HAD MORE PHYSICAL STRENGTH AND HE WAS HARDER PUNCHER. AND MARCIANO WAS NOT A WRESTLER, HE WAS A BOXER.. WHAT A STUPID POINT...

FRAZIER WAS BETTER THAN MARCIANO IN EVERYTHING EXCEPT THE HITTING POWER OF THE RIGHT HAND.

IT IS A COMPLETE AND ABSOLUTE CRAP!! ALI WAS IN THE ROPES TAKING SHOTS, ALI NEVER HANDLED FOREMAN PHYSICALLY, SIMPLY ALI COULD NOT WITH FOREMAN. ALI DID BEAT FOREMAN WITH THE BRAIN. ALI WAS VERY DURABLE, HE TOOK SHOTS AND HE DID HIT FOREMAN WHEN GEORGE WAS TIRED, ALI WAS VERY WEAK COMPARED WITH FOREMAN.

The fact that you are of the opinion that Ali is very weak, tells me all that i need to know about the validity of your opinions.

You can't even post without capslock, you are a joke minus the funny.
