Heres the thing this guy finished with a 20-11 record and knocked out Bob Foster and Manuel Ramos.

This guy did not stink. Foreman must have inspired him to be better.

Was HGH abuse that prevalent in the 1970's? That was before synthetic. I remember him talking about insane amounts of Winstrol and the like. I am no expert on this stuff though.

He wasn’t using HGH in the 70s he hit a peak weight of 300lbs or something later on… he wasn’t overly heavy in his boxing career.

He said he was using steroids "throughout his boxing career" so that part puts him in the 1970's. He states he started taking them immediately after the Foreman fight in 1969. Anyway, that early sht Dianabol and Winstrol was crazy.

That is a zinger - very dark - but a zinger all the same.

O'Halloran, Chuck Wepner, and Gerry Cooney were all in that category I reckon.

Yeah, at 6’6” O’Halloran was the tallest of the 3.

I think Cooney was more like 6’5” in reality.

I’ve also read Hazleton listed as 6’6” and 6’6 1\2”.

Very early in Foreman’s career, they were sometimes listing George himself at 6’5”. Lol.

Yep, he started taking PED’s after Foreman… he got bigger after boxing, I believe that’s when he started HGH etc.

I’m surprised Hazelton stayed in boxing. His first 10 fights or so were a train wreck

How tall was Cepulis for real? Now at Boxrec shows up as 6'1". Years ago (decade or more?) showed up as 6'6" on the web. Watch the fight. Cepulis looks at least as big as young George and couldn't survive til round 3. Product of Soviet engineering at the height of it's greatness.
