Fact is that today you can be a world champion and not be the best, regretable yes but its been that way for a long while.

And always in good fights and not afraid to fight anyone

These are exactly the kind of fighters you need in boxing, they love to fight but they have flaws......perfect

I actually find Groves more likeable than Khan.

That shouldn't be an insult. Khan has been one of the UKs top fighters for almost the last 10 years. I see the comparison, but I see it as positive. both skilled, borderline elite but carry baggage and some fragility.

    Groves the new Khan

Bar the fact they fight nothing a like, what a load of bollocks.

Both of them are entertaining fighters, arguably the two most entertaining fighters in the UK.

If Groves was to emulate Khan and become a 2 weight world champ, whats the shame in that?!?!

Groves having no chin?! He got hit with a hail mary right hand off of a heavy handed established world class fighter, whats the shame in that.

Nothing wrong with Groves chin and he's a future world champion without a shadow of a doubt.

He is arrogant but only does that to irritate opponents, he's not deluded just has self confidence and if a boxer doesn't have that then he should stop boxing and for the no chin part you are wrong, he doesn't have the best chin but its good enough to win fights. I personally dislike Groves so I am unbiased and even Froch said himself that Groves is self confident and for someone who really dislikes him to say that shows its not a bad thing

The arrogance is to get under his opponents skin.

Also, you need arrogance to be a 'somebody' at the top level.

When you've met the man and also listen to him in 'proper' interviews, you'll realise he's a decent lad and not up his own arse.

since when as having no chin made you exciting or entertaing , when did this become appreciated as any of the above ,

why did this way of thinking not apply 10 - 15 years back and further
