    Young Christopher by destruction

I will give Georgie Porgie props if he can go 12 as I highly doubt it

This fight is so difficult to call for me.....whether i think rationally or emotionally

    So firstly.....emotionally ......

    I WANT Groves to win
So from an emotional point of view based on recent history of me really really wanting someone to win a fight
    ...it dont usually end well

Example: emotionally i wasnt desperate for brook to beat GGG because i didnt give him much chance...but when he decided to drop straight back down to 147 and take in Spence when many felt he would duck Spence....i loved that....so was gutted when he lost ( btw that was one of the best high level fights for years in terms of two closely matched fighters proving they were both top level ...brook wasnt exposed...spence was just better )

Froch v groves 1.....groves was huge underdog....and i had been a froch fan but didnt like how he felt that groves should kiss his arse in the build up...groves fought a great fight...and the first sign of trouble it was stopped.....agonising

Could name a couple more...but generally i really want a fighter to win a toss up fight....they always lose !

    Rational :

I have gone from eubank win to groves win now back to eubank win

Ita really hard for me .....groves seems to be less mobile now....but seems to be pucnhing with more purpose in recent fights....and is this less mobile approach in order to expend less energy ?

He is a good counter puncher....he is a good boxer.and hard puncher.....and thats whats made me lean back towards groves winning....being the bigger pncher and better boxer

But what made me switch back is this

1.he looked even more drawn than usual at weigh in....and sounded a it funny too ( hope he aint caught a vold or virus

    2. Ive come to the belief that it isnt power that beats eubank.....its movement....that complete fitness and movement that leaves junior punching air and clueless.....basically a FMJ style...or fully conditioned BJS

Groves doesnt have that type of movement....his current style requirs his opponent respecting his power
If eubank doesnt get properly "oh **** i not gelt like this before" shaken by groves then i think he outworks groves for a close points victory

my gut feeling was Eubank jr but it's a close one to call. Usually I pick the more gifted boxer when I can't call it, which is groves, but there are lots of variables in this one. Groves has more battle scars and mental baggage, but then you could turn that on its head and say he's more experienced and battle hardened than Chris. Eubank hasn't been in the trenches, so we don't know how he'll react if pushed there, but all signs show he's up for a fight.
Eubank looks like he has the better tank and a speed advantage. Groves will have the size advantage and in my opinion has better timing and more variety.
    Will vs skill!
I'll bypass my gut and use my head and say Groves by MD
    Skill + size wins!
But let's just hope we have a great fight and I don't mind if I'm wrong.

I have said Groves all along and I haven't seen or heard anything to change my mind.

    Although I'm not sure how.

I have heard the 4th judge mentioned a few times. I wouldn't rule this out either, a controversial ending.

The 4th judge is used if the 3 judges score it a draw.. then they go to the 4th judge.

Can anybody explain to me if the fight is scored a draw by the 3 judges does that result stand on their records or does the 4th judges decision go down on their records?

The standard is 3 judges for world title fights so is the 4th judge used just the purpose of the WBSS but it remains a draw?

    What about gambling?

Does the bookmaker pay out on a draw? Do the bookmakers pay out on a winner decided by a 4th judge? Or decided by count back?

I do know if 4th judge has it a draw there is a count back..

Maybe I should go and read the rules LOL that might help.

I believe the fight will be officially considered a draw (and thus paid out as much by the bookies), but whoever ADVANCES will be determined by the 4th judge. And if the 4th judge also has it a draw, there's some stipulations on how to determine who advances. Correct me if I'm wrong.

The point of this is so draws will not be a hindrance to the tournament schedule, since most draws are resolved through a rematch and ain't nobody got time for that.

Chris Eubank wins a clear UD or 11/12th round stoppage. Groves will do well and it wont be domination but still somewhat clear win for Eubank

    Rooting for Groves though
