This is sad and similar injuries happen to Boxers too often. Yet, UFC fans like to their their sport is more dangerous.
I thought he was already in a care home. The only Boxer to my knowledge who has ever helped him, is Roy Jones Junior, and I don't think that Roy is in a position to help any more right now. (Financially?) It's a shame that he has no quality of life, I won't go into the whole dog fighting thing, and karma etc, I'd rather just say that any form of life is precious.
I didnt say other country were better than blacks... in asia they torture and eat them. in spain like you said they torture bulls and well, black do dogfighting. I dont like every one of those who does those kind of things.

His family takes care of him 24 hours a day.. he needs to be put in a home. his family shouldnt have to live like that n neither does gerald. hed get better care in a home
His family leeches him Im not a big fan of the g-man but it seems like every other month his family try to get money out of him.
At the end of the day these fighters fight to entertain us. That's how they make a living. We should have mad respect for anyone who puts their health on the line simply to provide us with an hour of entertainment. I wish no boxer was permanently hurt and if they do become injured we as a boxing community should do what we can to support that individual. This idea of equating the lives of animals to humans is to say the least very misguided. Where do you draw the line? If you can complain about dog fights, what about shooting a defenseless deer or moose, happens all the time. Or worse yet, having chickens cooped up and their beaks cut off and giving them hormones to grow faster than normal so they can be slaughtered for our consumption. I'm not a big fan of any of it, but it's not a human life and it's an apples or oranges comparison.
