Hey Thanks for posting. I have read all of them so far but I don't hink I'll be reading that one. Respect.
I just watched an amatuer fight of his with a slick guy from Nebraska named Terry Christianson who beat him and looked good doing it. Anybody have information on Christianson why he didn't do **** in the pros or anything?
I saw most of his early fighjts and out of the Kronk Gym with Manny Steward all the way until he challenged Julian Jackson for the WBC MW belt and then broke with Manny. McClelland was a true heavy handed, big leverage, strong punching muscle aggressor. McClelland would have dominated the SMW until he would go for a showdown with Roy or a LHW fight with Toney. The guy was really world class. And so was Watson but this grudge bouts weight on the fighters and they can end up in such situation, sad , very sad. McClelland could have been 2-2 to start with and B-hop lost his pro-debut and as a late starter but these guys know who they are and just how tough environments they can stand in order to be successful.
