Iran Barkley is a underated warrior IMO but the G-Man just had too much power. A few flush shots could take out Barkley but Iran would need a accumalitive effect. He would have a chance but this effect would take a few rounds and by then Gerald would have caught him IMO.

Barkley would know far too much for McClellan and would gut out the first five rounds to win by a mid round KO, in a war.

I have to go with McClellan on this one. G-Man was a fast starter in the Benn and Jackson fights and if he comes out guns blazing like that I see Barkley losing by TKO early like when he fought Benn.

The Benn fight was a close run thing, on another day Barkley may of won, despite being virtually blind in one eye!

The Barkley who outpointed Hearns despite one bum eye, would dare I say it, be too cute for McClellan.

McClellan was a classic bully, the record shows, if you were smart enough to survive the initial onslaught, you beat him.

McClellan could of been something very special, but he got lazy because he always figured that power would get him though, no matter what...

Same old excuse. Benn travelled to the US, whopped a top fighter within a round and still doesnt get the respect he deserves. Woulda, coulda, shoulda, Barkley was spanked, end of. Im dubious about how bad his eye really was as well.

    G-Man by KO.

The fact that Benn ripped his BBB of C licence up in the post fight interview because Barkley was refused a licence for the bout to happen in Britain, suggests there may of been something to it. The States was very slack at the time when it come to eye injuries.

Maybe your right, there always seems to be an excuse though when an American loses, it causes me to be cynical.

Or (rightly or wrongly) they get devalued. See Benn vs Mcllenan, Honeyghan vs Curry, Calzaghe vs Lacy and Lewis vs everyone.

As opposed to all the British fighters who always say 'the best man won', like Hatton* cough*It was the referee*cough*, Henry Cooper cough*they gave Ali an hour to recover from me knocking him out*cough

GMAN by KO anyway, although the more I think about it the more I think Barkley would relish this type of fight and it may have elements of Barkley-Hearns
