As an US citizen I can attest to the fact that there has not been a Mike Tyson, or Riddick Bowe since.....well Mike Tyson, and Riddick Bowe haha.
That doesn't mean Wilder, and Washington are bums, but I don't expect them to rise to that level either.
Is everyone happy with Wilder being the next Derrick Jefferson, and Washington the next Calvin Brock then ok that's odds on what they will be.

US citizen here. Not to brag......nothing to brag about.
But with the massive influx of quality micro breweries in the US we probably have overtaken Europe for sheer numbers of quality beer makers!:beer

Washington looked pretty mortal in there tonite. Nagy is a pretty sold journeyman, but Breazeale looked better against him from what little of the fight I saw.

And for those that doubt our beer. You must try our takes on the india pale ale. Especially the imperial versions, and the imperial stouts are incredible.
Props to Samuel Smiths though. I always have a spot in my heart for that wonderful english beer.:good

The fact he's not from Eastern Europe makes me think he'll fail

Gerald Washington won by UD tonight.

Nagy Aguilera came to fight, it wasn't easy.

No, I am not American and I live in Britain and I would never defend a **** poster, who sees fighters purely from some nationalistic viewpoint and Joejr is just a wind up merchant. If he thinks Washington is crap, why doesn't he discuss the merits of a fighter? US Heavyweights are mediocre for sure, but so are Brits, apart from David Haye really.

great learning fight against a tough motivated guy. Aguilera is no bum and Washington will learn much more from that than a big early ko.

I have never hyped Washington and have made many a comments on what I think of Wilder - look them up. My comment was to do with a post on Washington from a poster that was just on a wind up and has never seen him fight.

I am not doubting some good European heavyweight prospects, but in terms of British fighters - Joshua was totally gifted a gold medal and is completely raw and very unproven and I am not sure how you can call Tyson Fury a quality heavyweight prospect, he is a very average heavyweight. I haven't seen his younger brother fight, so can not comment on him.

I've said for a while that Washington isn't any good.... Martin, Breazeale, and Ruiz, Jr. All have much more potential. I'd be interested in seeing Washington/Mitchell.

That would only be true if Ruiz had spent a large proportion if his life in France.

Listen to an interview with Ruiz and tell me how Mexican he sounds
