Gervonta is tenuously a PPV fighter on his best day. To sell this fight for anything more than $20 is nearly criminal. This thing will flop on a ridiculous level. It's the hallmark of a failing business when the number of consumers goes down, the quality of the product also goes down, but the price remains the same or goes up to squeeze the last bit of cash out of the core audience.

I lived in Ft Worth Texas too from 1985 - 2003 Well the little city of Watauga actually spent most of my time in either Dave Gorman's Super Pro's gym , The BMI gym or Curtis Cokes Home of Champions gym in Dallas. loved every minute spent there. Especially The RISKY'S BBQ in the stockyards or white elephant saloon

i think its an interesting fight. davis should be peaking physically and technically. just watched some tape of martin and i was surprised how similar in style he is to davis. they both throw hooks/uppers from almost any angle. they are both very aware of probable counters when they set up a shot, so they guard accordingly. they have similar speed. similar footwork. and there isnt a big difference in power when they land flush. i think it will be interesting to see how big a separation in class there is when tank faces someone that can do a lot of the things he can do.

We lived in Ft Worth in the 80s when my dad got a job with Lockheed and he the gym he went to he met Donald Curry around 1986 or so.

We later moved to Weatherford 22 miles west.
