    Why should we?

He's done absolutely nothing to earn a shot and his whinging on Twitter about not being handed one is pathetic. In any other profession if someone was lazy and doing the bare minimum yet was handed a bonus or a pay rise everyone would be furious. The same principle applies here, he does not deserve a pay day or a title shot at this time.

I assume people feel that he provides a spectacle and his imposing frame gives the illusion of an even fight. I can't see anything other than an Khan-Canelo type KO though. He's been seriously damaged by boxing thus far I feel and taking on JP right now is downright irresponsible on the part of Prices advisors. Sad charade.

Price needs to drop down to cruiser snatch that wbo strap and they will automatically rank him number one contender up at heavy weight aint that how they work

    Price needs us behind him?

He needs AJ, Haye, Wilder etc behind him in the ring to give him any chance of winning anything!

    War Price!!!!!!

Don't think it's impossible for him to beat Parker. I've no idea where he has this reputation as some sort of world beater from.

Price like paul smith thinks that if you sit on your a rse doing nothing and whinge a lot about how hard done to you are then eventually someone will give you a world title shot and i have to say it seems to be a winning formula.

After his third stoppage loss in a row, we were told he would be eased back, raising his level of competition a bit at a time. Despite this statement, the level has not risen above safe journeymen fodder. Surely it would be irresponsible to feed him to any of the alphabelt claimants for fear of his safety. Perhaps a suitable bout for him would be Fres Oquendo who surfaces every few years and performs in a suitable non threatening manner with an appropriate title at stake. Just think up a combination of words to find a name for such a title to keep everyone happy.

Wildest chin is far superior as is the rest of his game.

Price s chin aside he in some vehement opinion quit twice against Thompson.

Khan may have a weak chin but no where near as weak as price plus Khan for all his faults may be the most courageous, determined to win fighters I've ever seen.he has a huge heart

Problem with price isn't just he's paper mache chin, he's stamina is terrible and he is incapable of doing a full 12 rounds at even an average pace, once hr doesn't stop you early he will tire and get knocked out

Remember when people were raving about price being a beast and how he would slam fury wlad etc?

I have to admit I was one such person back in 2011ish. How wrong can one be? The stamina issue is an odd one. It's partly because he burns off so much nervous energy by being... well.... nervous, but also he still does that amateur thing of bouncing up and down on the balls of his feet. That's gonna tire anyone out who weighs 18+ stones. Can't believe coaches haven't ironed that out.

There really is little hope for him at higher levels unless he just goes all-in for the first three rounds and take the knock out or be knocked out approach...

Price's best win is Audley Harrison in 2012. He's done nothing to merit a ranking inside the top 25, let alone a title shot. I quite like the big man but he just can't hack it at the upper levels of the sport.

They also said Donald Trump would never be President. They laughed at him and mocked him as a joke and look what happened.
