People are talking about Itauma like he won the fight. Like he got hit with a low blow or something which changed the fortunes of both fighters. He got destroyed. A championship fight doesn't go for 8 rounds it goes for 12. He didn't K.O Hrgovoc. He didn't go 12 rounds. He got stopped violently in the 9th. That's right. Itauma got stopped in the 9th. People are pointing it down just to Itauma's gas tank. He got git with some ****en bombs which took the sails out of him. It wasn't just lack of cardio. He was getting knocked around the ****en ring like he weighed 40 lbs. All the Itauma fan boys like to point to the first 8 rounds. Which btw he didn't win them all. They're conveniently ignoring what happened in the 9th. He also got hurt in the 8th. Regardless, it's a marathon not a sprint. Two thirds of the way he was in front then got absolutely decimated staggering allover the ring being held up on various occasions only by the ropes. He was not fighting back about to get knocked out cold and his trainer threw in the towell while the ref stopped it. Leaving the ring on a stretcher going to hospital isn't winning. It's called getting destroyed. Hrgovic took his heart, his chin amd his soul. He lost because he got the **** knocked out of him. Hrgovic was and is the superior fighter. Until proven otherwise.
