Yeah, frankly I'm tired of talking about this subject, there's really nothing more I can say that hasn't already been said or discussed.

So am I. This thread, for example, was started due to some irresponsible boxing news site repeating an ESPN article. No need to discuss until we have real news ... imo

Canelo not interested in GGG isn't any argument. Everybody knows that , including Golovkin. Therefore GGG has to make compromises to get the fight if he really wants it and he does cos he's obsessed with it.

Canelo don't need or care about GGG. GGG will NEVER be the Pacman to Mayweathers Canelo. He simply doesn't do the PPV numbers. 97K . He is a PPV Flop. Pacman done over 700K and that was just against Clottey. ONE Mill against Cotto. The list is long.
Triple B side will never command a 60/40 split. It might not be right but that how it is. Canelo is taking the huge risk here , not GGG.

His option is take the offer -like 99% of guys in his position would do - and beat Canelo and all the loot that comes with the victory. Its a very winnable fight and totally worth it.
Or else he can do what GB want him to do and decline until a better offer comes along down the road . Not in his interests as Canelo will become better with every fight he has at 160 while Golovkin fades.
He'll end up getting his ass handed to him and left with a loss and a pathetic resume that was the result of a career spent waiting on one man.

There's only one right answer here. GGG get your biro.

I agree with you. I don't see why he should be greedy after already being a millionaire on top of being from Kazakhstan where this is even more money than in USA.

He needs to care about his legacy now. Hell, even if he fought Canelo for free it could potentially be worth it if he beats him in a spectacular fashion and become the man in boxing.

Let's not forget that the fight could have a rematch or even become a trilogy which is guaranteed $$$ and he can get better offers depending on if he wins against Canelo once or twice and how close/exciting the fights are.

Kovalev has a totally different mentality, he would gladly settle for pretty much anything Golden Boy would offer if he was in GGG's position and would just want to KRUSH the other man and build a resume.

I don't know...I kind see Trippa G's position, if you know this fight is the only fight that will gross this type of money probably even more...I want to max it out completely not just some flat fee they feel I should have....I want a piece of everything I can and should get....because there is no other fight that will have this type of monetary potential.

10-15%? You do realize that the cable company takes half of the PPV sales, and promoters, cable companies etc have to get paid too right? So let's just base it off cable companies taking a cut and the fighter taking all of the ppv rev which never happens. So since the PPV are 35 dollars(half because of the cable company), it would have to sell over 3 million for 15 mil to be 10-15 percent.

An 85/15 split is fair to you huh ?? If it was 85% GGG that might be fair for a red headed chicken

Why don't they make an offer to fight next if they really want it?
    It's just more bullsh*t.

So you believe Canelo is going to get 85%? So GBP gets nothing?
