Did someone, ANYONE, say it's not possible? Is that what you're held up on, someone saying it's NOT possible? Because no one, let alone me, actually said that. My contention is, all they have to do is wait. Just like virtually how EVERYONE ELSE in boxing does it.

If, in March, 3G wins and is offered the same deal, I hope he takes it.

For f*cks sake.... what is wrong with you guys who insist 3G MUST take this offer now? My god...how short sighted are the lot of you? The offer will likely be there after 3G's March fight.

True, although maybe the networks get less than 50% for such a megafight.

May-Pac I believe the two networks only got 25% between them.

You are displaying critical thinking Kiwi. Critical thinking is almost ban worthy here it seems. Knee jerk reactions and hyperbole are where it's at!

No one said he wanted 50-50 to be fair, Oscar said he wanted 90% and Loeffler said he wants 40%.

I think K2 and GBP will come to a deal, in fact I wouldn't be surprised if the $15 million is accepted once all the details are worked out and there's a firm offer on the table.

I think in K2's estimation $15 million is less than 25%, they might have too high expectations for the fight though.

GGG is a bigger draw among the casuals who are ultimately the ones who buy PPVs.

Neither Ward nor Kovalev are draws, in fact outside of hardcore boxing fans no one cares about them.

Until GGG faces an ultra-defensive boxer his every fight is guaranteed excitement while everyone knew Kovalev vs Ward was likely going to be a tactical match which it indeed was.

I think people underrate Golovkin's popularity, he's up there with Joshua when it comes to exciting boxers that people talk about. His fight with Lemieux did 150k which in hindsight weren't bad numbers at all and his fight against Jacobs is definitely going to be bigger, especially if promoted right. I think he can get over 300k buys.

If Canelo loses to Chavez (which would never happen, btw great money fight) and GGG wins against Jacobs the split might not be 90/10 anymore. Maybe closer to 60/40. There is always a risk of either fightr losing so they need to make the fight before that happens. IMO

Are you saying there's absolutely no chance that Jacobs or Chavez Jr pull off the upset?

And there is a 60/40 PPV staring at GGG across the pond and is highly visible cause the guy holds the only ABCDE belt that GGG hasnt ripped away from, or been paid homage with by the former kings.

GGG and Abel gonna focus on Jacobs.
Loeffler gonna focus on Yeller, BJS, and other fights.

Last week we heard 10 mil plus ppv split. Today its 15 flat.
    Which is it?
Niether. Cause until Loeffler has a signed contract from GBP with a notarized signature of Yeller CanelHOE, there's no sense assuming it's anything but hype trying to build up his WBO defense vs Martirosyan.

Chavez Sr. said Cucknelo also wants a rematch clause in case he loses in May :aplastao: Then GGG fight would get pushed back to 2018.

If Jacobs has some success and makes it a competitive and exciting fight, then the fight would be more intriguing knowing Canelo is a better technician than is Jacobs and has a more proven punch resistance.

Deals have been blown up before. I remember Vernon Forrest signing a 6 fight deal with HBO blown the **** up by Mayorga. If ggg's hypothetical deal got blown up then so be it. So I am not saying Jacobs has no chance. He absolutely does for the record. This idea that ggg has to focus on Jacobs is just irrelevant. It's a pretty big statement that ggg is a diva if he's turning down 15 million for any reason.

Assuming it doesnt break 1 mil views, and no other PPVnetworks like Sky or boxnation or telemundo etc pick it up. Assuming they can't sell out a high school gym in East La etc etc etc.

Ive heard estimates of 80 mil purse money, and while 15 mil certainly sounds close enough to K2s original demand of 17%, it doesnt factor in the equation that Golovkin is the WBC Champion, the IBF Champion, and the WBA Champion and has other fighters more willing to engage since the Brook ppv fight.

Perhaps GGG and K2 prefer the idea of BJS in July at the Oracle. If GGG can do 200K+ in back to back fights, he could use his 5 MW titles and higher PPV platform to get close to 35% of gate, PPV, concessions, marketing and royalties.
