Nope, you learn how to fight going backwaters, it's effective in opening gaps and countering your opponent. Plus if they chase you you can generate more power when connecting. Do you think every fighter that fights going backwards loses then?
It's what you do going back, Canelo countered effectivelyy in the first fight, and outfought G in the rematch MEXICAN STYLE!
Nope, he got out boxed and out landed in both. Only one hurt in the two fights and has a ratio of 95-5 picking Golovkin as the winner off both fights, that's from fans, journalists and boxers.
Sooooo. Who is this Smith guy? Never heard of him before this GGG news. What are his odds against GGG? 5%- 10%?
Just looked up some Smith highlights. Wow. The guy has 5 inches on GGG. Maybe he can make the fight interesting.
The jab is one of if not the most important weapon a boxer has, if you've boxed before you should know it is the first aspect of punching you are taught, I'm assuming you have boxed before (@dinovelvet is a limp **** I know he wouldn't have). Canelo was outboxed, outlanded and hurt in the 10th.....he didn't win the fight.
Your jab sets up everything else, but if your throwing the jab and the other boxer iss Countering with hard shots in combination who do you give that round to?
The guy who is in control, GGG was landing the jab and power shots. As already stated the vast majority of people had GGG winning both fights. It's been done to death and as I've already stated I'm a fan of both and wished that Golovkin boxed more often like he did in the rematch instead of the bull**** "Mexican style"
Look for example, floyd outjabbee Judah through 4 rounds but Judah countered and landed the harder shots through 4... Who did you have winning after 4 rounds using the concept of jabs. S cleaner punching?
Exactly. The reason he was only throwing jabs is because Canelo took his amoury out of the equation. He walloped Vanes out of there with hooks , not jabs. If he could have done the same to Canelo he would have , but he couldn't. Punch variety , defense , ring generalship >>> a jab.
When will you little noobs learn that what happened in one fight means squat to another. No wonder you look like a damn fool when you try to debate people.
