Mr Principle, Mr Honor loses his belt now has a change of heart lol. Now all of a sudden he wants to play hardball. He don't deserve 45%. Getting stripped of the IBF should affect GGG's split. Now he has less to bring to the table for the rematch.
I agree, you're right, but at the same time the fight needs to happen. They don't deserve anything above 40% especially without the IBF on the line. But the clock is ticking on a rematch and if the fight can be made for September I think both sides need to make it happen.
El Pollo does not deserve chicken feed! He is a fraud, a cheat. Everyone knows Oscar owned the judges in the first fight...................
You been on the contaminated duck? Yeah the 50/50 demand was silly and Abel is a cheerleading clown when a camera is put in his face but at least they're not coddled drug test failing dodgy-ly judged catchweight loving snakes like GBP who are making a mockery of the sport.
That’s right! Why fight a winnable fight vs Canelo for $20+ million when you can face a murderers row in Derevianchenko, Charlo and Saunders for $2-4million a pop! Go Golovkin!
Pretty much exactly what they did earlier in the week, and all the Canelo-vers here sprang up to say GGG was either greedy or ducking Canelo!! Anyway, I stick to my guns - simply put, GGG needs to fight a top opponent next. If he fights Derevyanchenko, Charlo or Saunders, no one can hold his refusal to fight Canelo in September for less than 45% against him.
To Golden Boy it clearly is Drug cheats Illegal wrap Paid off referees Weight cheating Personal weight divisions Dragging smaller fighters up Draining larger fighters Corrupt judges Corrupt score cards WBC and WBA cartel protection Where will it end?
All just staging and negotiating. These guys know they need each other to make a decent payday. Besides, I'd bet the farm Jacobs beats Canelo. Oscar knows this. Canelo would need to take a joke fight to get a W and Mexican fans won't just buy any old fight; they aren't Floyd fans.
What I find interesting about the analysis going on for this fight is how the onus is being placed on GGG solely. If he accepts a lowball offer he is a desperate chump. If he demands a fair payday he is a coward. Some of you guys crack me up. This is as much on Canelo and GBP's plate as it is on GGG's. It takes two to tango and you have to be reasonable. GBP acts like this kind of offer comes around every day. The fact of the matter is Canelo could get badly KO'd and the house of cards comes crashing down. Take a fair split and make this happen and stop screwing around. Oscar really is a drama queen and it is rubbing off on Canelo.
