Dino ggg boxed as a young boy and had 200 plus more amateur matches...I think And he's 35 now. He won last night on 85 percent of the media cards and if he was 33 would have stopped Canelo.
I don't see why he'd have cause to stick around more than another 2 years. Try to clean up Canelo and BJS, throw in another defense or two, then call it a day. 37 is damn old for a middleweight, and doing VADA testing, he's not going to have that superhuman longevity boost.
I hope he gets a shot against BJS for that last belt, rematches Canelo in another sham for the money, and retires, win or lose. I wish the man would have had the opportunity to have fought elite fighters 10 years ago. He could have been a major star on the level of Pacquiao, I think.
It will happen sooner rather than later. I agree with Rock. I don't think GGG will be around more than 2 years from now. He has clearly declined, and it's only going to get worse. I think in about the 5th round of the fight last night, he was walking Canelo along the ropes. A few years ago, that's at least a knockdown of Canelo. And it's probably the end of fight. He misses more now, he gets hit more now, his cardio is lesser now, his speed is lesser now. No one fights forever.
The Universum campaign in Germany really screwed himself and the fans out of seeing what he truly could've accomplished. Better late than never, but I wish he'd have had better support & matchmaking from the start.
Don't rematch Canelo, after that bought ref was exposed its not worth dealing with that circus, freakshow. 1st time they allowed a draw, 2nd time they will screw him publicly in the arse by low blowing him so much, Max his twin will feel it. Beat BJS Beat the winner of the Super Eight at 168lbs and retire gracefully.
No, he didn't. He's wanted big fights. No one wanted him. Storm, Cotto, Martinez, all ducked him. Jacobs an Canelo made him wait. Eubank ducked him. List goes on.
Yes in late 2013 begin of 2014 when he had already injury problems he decided to go for the money fight with Cotto instead of facing the obviously Nr 1 Guy Golovkin. Can't blame him for this but this started the whole WBC paperbelt catchweight garbage with Cotto and Canelo which ended in 2016 Since Yesterday it is clear who is the champ @160
If you don't believe it then you don't follow boxing. He wanted that fight. Sergio didn't want him. I don't blame him, he was older but he didn't want none. Educate yourself, fool. https://www.google.com/amp/s/www.ba...t-be-sergio-martinezs-next-fight-says-dibella
your article says "I'm NOT saying they will never fight" It is saying 3G is a tough prospect for a comeback fight. where is the educartion you promised, because this article only educates YOU. Or were you writing "educate yourself, fool" to yourself - that would explain it.
He didn't want the fight. He's one of the many who didn't want it. Even if I'm grasping here, I'm not reaching on any of the other names I mentioned.
THESE words are yours. They are not in the article. What is in the article is the polar opposite of what you claim. verbo you claim he wont fight him, the article says heis NOT claiming he won fight him. You've read black as white.
