    at 168 its possible.

but at 160 jr. is going to be the one on his back foot.

jr. has yet to face a guy that has one-punch ko power in both hands and chavez only has power in his left hook.

ggg, with his extensive amatuer record, will have no problem taking away that punch with his superior footwork and right hand.

    fu-ck the mackiln body shot.

did you see his face after just three rounds with golovkin?

    well said.

both jr and ggg are unproven at 168 so there is no telling how each are going to perform.

chavez gets wrecked(ko'd) at mw because he has too much heart to fight smart(survival) once he realizes that he has no answers for all the questions ggg will present him at 160.

i cant see how anyone would pick jr over ggg if the both made 160.

one fighter is complete and the other is not.

imo, if top rank makes the fight they are cashing out on chavez.

It’s not a problem in terms of the promotional companies because Golovkin is promoted by K2, and there wouldn’t be the issues with Top Rank vs. Golden Boy in a fight like this,

Per Dan the Fat Man, Chavez has said he wants to move back to 160 to reclaim his title after fighting Vera at 168.

As suspected, just a BS troll thread.

i don't think chavez can make 160 anymore. he doesn't train hard enough to make that weight legit. like previous posters have said he has never tested the waters at 168 but neither has ggg. at 168 i think jr can take him and i can't stand chavez jr. i think it would be a good fight, nothing against ggg but i don't think he has been tested. jr on the other hand went 12 w martinez and has an iron chin and that puncherschance :good.

Because he said he would plus you fanboys have been saying he can beat everyone at 168. Now that we found out he ducked Chavez you sit around saying he should not fight at 168. GGG is just another bum with a padded record that will avoid risky fights.

Your right because GGG would get his ass kicked at 168. SO stop claiming he can beat Ward and Froch because its foolish and you know it.

people say GGG is overhyped, well let me tell you Chavez is not the guy to derail that particular train

I appreciate the point, Derrick, 'cept I never been one of the guys saying anyone ducked anyone else. You gotta see the irony here tho. GGG was available at 160, Jr ain't interested 'til he loses his belt and his Zero, then starts saying 'come on Gena lets get it on at 168'.

I'd love to see the fight made, but I suspect Arum don't. What advantage is there to be had for GGG to fight Jr at 168?

Golovkin said he's willing to face Hopkins at 175, Sanchez says the eventual Ward fight will be at 168. GGG would jump at the chance to face Chavez at 168. Fat Boy can come in near 200lbs and he's still going to get destroyed.
