GGG v Canelo Rematch!

Big props to Canelo if this happens in May. Although if its me I'll probably drag GGG older to September.
Maybe they can have both have canelo and GGG fighting against other opponents in may sharing a ppv event. I think it would also sell big.

Canelo already stood his ground the first time.. last time I checked, this is boxing not a street fight.

GGG isn't Mexican style... Plenty of Mexican boxers fight smart using their heads to out think a fighter in the ring, not use their heads to block punches.

Finito Lopez and Marco Antonio Barrera are a few prime examples of that.

Good point. Canelo's connect rate was, according to Compubox, only about 2% higher than GGG's. If Canelo has great defence, then so does Golovkin.

And that big shot he got hit with in the 9th, i watched it last night, the ref yelled "Watch your heads!" GGG backed off a for a second and Canelo nailed him

 

Even if I wanted to buy the PPV, it's not even possible here.
I wouldn't buy any PPV's priced above $25 anyway, whoever is fighting.
