GGG vs Canelo 3 @ 175 would result have been different?

I agree with your scores thats for sure. I wouldn't want Golovkin to look anymore sluggish than he did though.He was very strong, he seemed stronger than Canelo anytime he applied himself, also Canelo couldnt hurt him at all. I think the problem was with GGG. For some reason he waited too long to get going. Had he got started earlier the fight would have been more entertaining and GGGmight have gotten the win. I think Golovkin is a middleweight naturally and losing that extra weight may make him lighter and more active and maybe more angry, ready to let his hands go more. A Golovkin that lets his hands go is a dangerous Golovkin.

 

GGG was there to receive his paycheck, he lost on purpose. It wouldn't be different at 175.

 

This ,,is the best historical perspective on their 3 fights I've seen . Neither really distinguished themselves .

Wasn’t this already GGG’s first time fighting at 168? I don’t see how going up another weight class would be to his advantage versus Canelo, who has already had a few fights at 175.
