GGG turned pro at 24 y/o at 160, when he was 18 he was campaigning at LWW in the amateurs which is 141 and obviously same day weigh ins Clenelo turned pro at 15 y/o at LWW (140 in the pros), not same day weigh ins, and was up at 147 by the time he was 17 at the very latest When Clenelo was 22-23 y/o campaigning down at 154 and Clenelo Weight aka 155 he was weighing 171-174 in the ring after rehydrating GGG's fight night weights have been very consistent, hovering around the 170 mark Golovkin 168 - Proksa 166 Golovkin 170 - Macklin 170 Golovkin 173 - Rubio 181 Golovkin 167 - Rosado ? Golovkin 170 - Monroe 172 Golovkin 170 - Lemieux 175 Golovkin 171 - Wade 175 Golovkin - Brook ? (not sure but Golovkin weighed 167.8 for the IBF's same day weigh in the morning of the fight and Brook was 168) Golovkin 170 - Jacobs ? Jacobs was 176 at 8am the morning of the fight and even bigger by the time they climbed in the ring but refused to step on the scales for HBO's unofficial fight night weigh in GGG 173 - Vanes 170 Clenelo has obviously bulked up noticeably when he finally managed to summon the courage to step up to 160 after killing himself to make 154 and even creating his own weight division in order to avoid a prime or closer to prime GGG and would've had a significant weight advantage in both his fights against him Even though Clenelo's body had been begging him for years to move up to 160 and that he didn't belong at 154-Clenelo Weight anymore, for many years, the fear of moving up to 160 while a prime/closer to prime GGG was on the prowl would always override it and he only managed to summon the courage to do so when the signs of ageing and decline he'd been patiently biding his time waiting for whilst hiding out in the state of the art electrified Kazakhstan-proof chicken coop he had commissioned to duck him became apparent. Everyone knows he wanted absolutely nothing to do with GGG until he knew for sure he'd declined significantly and the fact he still had to jack himself full of PEDs for the rematch against a senior citizen after his judges had robbed said senior citizen in their first fight, and he still felt compelled to do so even though he knew he was much younger, bigger, in his prime, and that he had the judges in his pocket, speaks volumes.
This is now the second of your posts I’ve had printed out (made slightly larger) and had framed for my office. (I see a lot of boxing fans). When anyone brings up GGG v Canelo anymore I’m just going to tap this picture.
I literally have thousands of framed posts of mine adorning every wall of the rooms of not only my deluxe 5 berth caravan but on the walls of my 11 bedroom luxury mansion. I often catch my guests staring at awe at them like one does when visiting an art gallery. Hell, I even do so regularly myself too.
Voted for GGG simply due to we’ve seen V Canelo hurt and stunned, unlike G. Both are amazing in chin department though.
Clen and his career is laughable clownade: Cleneloweights and clauses, cherry picking and hometown hero.
