cotto and canelo are planning on fighting for cottos middleweight title so that would suggest that they are not JMW's. so you are wrong in that sense bud cotto and canelo are big names for GGG and i feel thats what GGG needs especially at MW. im hoping canelo beats cotto and takes on GGG
Murray, when motivated is probably the 3rd best middleweight in the world (Behind GGG and Cotto). He's got a solid jaw too so I think he will take GGG into the later rounds.
Good fight. Murray and Geale (at the time of GGG fighting them) were probably the two best/highest ranked middleweights without a belt. Murray is big, strong and tough with decent all-round ability when on form so it is a good fight. Wait and see haters will still try and diss this fight. I dont know if there is anyone in another division though that has faced more top ten guys in the last 2 years or so (Murray, Geale, Macklin, Rubio, Stevens).
I love the people saying Murray is ****. He seems a solid opponent for GGG and I like that he stays busy and announces opponents in quick succession.
yes he takes a better shot then both those guys canelo and cotto are still very unproven at the 160 weight mark my words if ggg fights all of those 3 guys murray will last longer then the cotto and canelo
deal All these guys are solid top 10 MW contenders. Add in this mix Korobov - Lee winner (the WBO mw champ) and you have a pretty good resume. GGG does a good job by cleaning out the mw division.:good:bbb
Good fight, Murray is a top middleweight and probably the best opponent available with Cotto facing Canelo, Martinez's future being uncertain and Quillan ducking anyone with a pulse. But I don't think Murray has the style to beat Golovkin. He's too upright and doesn't move well enough to keep him away. With his high guard I see GGG's vicious body attack being his undoing. Golovkin stops him inside 6 rounds.
Excellent fight!, about time. No one can really complain about this one. Murray is a top class Middleweight.
