In other words US boxing fans are mainly ignorant idiots who don't know anything outside their own doorstep. Well fancy that!!!

Great fight! I can't really pick a winner as I haven't seen GGG at SMW but Kessler has some real ability and could definitely win.

The real reason why those super 6 participants, including European white contenders, have ALL been considered ELITE by the general public (including black Americans) is because it happened to be dominated by the American Ward. Everything remained in its place - America remains the mecca of pro boxing with their dominating champ, and the Europeans are strong af and almost there but still slightly inferior, and as a result, everybody on both continents remains happy and satisfied. If today's 160 was dominated by the Americans Jacobs or Quillin, the division would have been considered strong af, and many top contenders would have instantly become ELITE. But it's dominated by the Kazakh GGG, and this creates a cognitive dissonance: you like him and you hate him because he is not one of your own.

Today the Soviet school of boxing has shifted a balance in pro boxing:
    - Now black American fans/fighters/trainers entitled to dominance in this sport (and rightfully so) can't comprehend GGG, Kovalev, Loma make noise and beat up their favorite fighters.
    - Europeans often make an attempt to claim those boxers as their own although it's a completely different school, but don't lose an attempt to big up their favorite fighters from the past (Kessler/Froch/Calzaghe) when compared to those Soviet currently dominating champs.

Many people don't even know that Soviet boxers could not compete in pros until 90's, and still there are many elite amateurs in these countries who consider their amateur career as a 100% lifetime career. Only recently there has been a shift in attitude, especially due to the latest success ($) of some boxers and appeal in the US.

So back to Kessler. No, I don't think he is on GGG's level.

why not, kesler had unified MUCH MUCH younger than 3g,

Kessler had won major titles MUCH MUCH younger than 3g.

Kessler has made nearly twice the number of successful world title defences as 3g.

3g only came to prominence at the same age that Kessler was done and dusted with his career. The difference remains marked in terms of success.

    on ability its closer.

the only thing 3g has a significant edge over MK is longevity.
