GGG can cut a ring better than Monzon.

Unless the ring is 25', GGG by mid-late rd KO.

Very well made points. Few quibbles:
    1. I would argue that welterweight stringbean Hearns was nowehere near the puncher GGG is.
    2. I would say Hearns wasnt such a great boxer - his freakish physical advantages length, height & reach, disguised a lack of fundamentals IMO. I think GGG is a much better 'correct' boxer!

Lalonde was garbage and EVERYONE knows so.

But yeah, SRLs eye trouble kept him from furthering his ATGness, and hopefully for Brook, it's not a similar fate. He's already 8 months past his broken orbital and has missed out on Khan, Culcay, and Harrison for the IBF LMW title.

Somethings either going bad with his healing, or he's simply calling it a career as Leonard did for a spell.

leonard stops 3G. He carried all the aces, 3G has just power, but leonard could return just as hard AND had every other advantage.

At MW, I think Leonard in top shape could out box, combo in and out, and avoid GGG long enough to win a decision. But I personally wouldn't make him the favorite. It would have to be a near flawless performance. I haven't seen GGG in with that kind of speed and movement yet to really compare but I get the sense that any slight mistake on Ray's part would be disastrous.

So you're telling me that you would make someone who has ZERO wins against elite fighters, who was has NEVER fought a P4P fighter, let alone an ATG, and who isn't as SKILLED, as FAST, and as ACCOMPLISHED the favorite over a CERTIFIED ATG, arguably top 10 P4P all time, 5 division champion, outboxing Hagler, a much better and much more accomplished fighter than GGG???

............ SRL an underdog against GGG. Yeah makes a lot o sense.
