According to Hearn, they just want to see both fighters fighting again and 30 days is tentative. He won't give up his belt if the fight happens in Nottingham. But if Hearn/Sky loses purse bids, I think he'll vacate.

If Ward does win the purse bid I think he is going to be a bit disappointed he seriously thinks he can sell out a 80,000 seat stadium. He thought his old promoter was lying to him telling him he wasn't a draw, he thinks the networks lie to him and tell him he's not a draw. He better hope Froch doesn't pull out he needs the fight more than Froch does. It's basically down to who wins the purse. No matter what Ward gets 75% of the pot compared to 25% for Froch judging by the WBA rules. I don't think Froch will take that pay hit AND come to America. Froch could fight Degale or Groves and make massive money in the UK. He could make good money in the US and fight GGG or Chaves also. He got options only because Ward is unwilling to meet 50/50 with anyone.

SMW division is going to blow chunks if we have Anthony Dirrel, Andre Dirrel, Andre Ward, and Arthur Abraham as champs. There will be no unification fights in a long time.

That's what I'm saying. If Froch loses the purse bid, he'll vacate.

He would rather make PPV money against JCCJR and have a great chance of winning. Triple fight will not happen this year, and if for some reason Froch doesn't get a fight this year, he might retire.

I know but right now I think their sure they are going to win a purse bid. Too much money involved to let it go to America.

Ward has had his last 3 fights turned down by HBO. He doesn't need HBO to fight. If his promotion company can't hold an event and pay to televise it they aren't worth anything. It's a hobby for JZ not an actual business.

If Frochs smart he won't let Ward take a tuneup and like I said Froch wants the fight in June and he has already said he wants it in June. Can't see Ward fighting someone May 30 and then Froch in June.

So if Froch doesn't fight Ward and can't get JCCJR, does he retire?

It's possible he has been talking about retirement since Abraham.

He wants a PPV fight in the US before he retires he said it's the only thing he hasn't done. He went to HBO after the first fight with Groves to see if GGG was a viable option for PPV they said no. ( f*ck HBO:patsch) then he got mandated Groves but talks with JCCJR had started. Froch got hurt so Chaves signed to fight Fonfara. Frochs camp and Benards camps were in talks but then he got mandated Ward.

I think he will get a US PPV fight before he retires.

His camp has mentioned fighting GGG this year also if it's PPV which GGG has been growing to be a viable PPV option.

If he can't get JCCJR this year and he doesn't fight at all, I think he'll call it quits.

He'll be 38 in July, and I can't see him taking a Triple G fight next year(Hearn said 10 months) on PPV being out of the ring for at least 1.5 years.
