Chavez is garbage, I don't see what people see in him. People always tell me "he has potential if he was committed" Chavez could be the most dedicated guy in the sport but it wouldn't be enough to be a world class fighter. He's a fringe world level guy who is vastly overrated.
Kid ain't (relatively) good, but a tough chin and a 20lb weight advantage can go a long way. That ain't the same as 'garbage' though - yeah, kid's been massaged through his career, but the last win over Vera says he can fight a bit.
