For anyone that cant find the nuances of this sweet sport. That first right hand by Marquez that lands on Pacquiao's shoulder??
That lands on Pacquiao's shoulder intentionally.
Marquez takes away Pacquiao's best weapon there by intentionally hitting Pacquiao's left shoulder and setting up his own hook to the body right to the head combo.

For as better technically that Pacquiao's improved, he can never match these types of set up combination punching by Marquez.

Marquez waits, then when he sees Pacquiao in a defensive high guard, instinctively Marquez knows Pacquiao is'nt in an offensive punching position there so he sees the creece opening downstairs to the body which takes him close to Pacquiao so that he's now in position to crack upstairs with the upper.

I thought Pacquiao was supposed to be quicker and faster than Marquez???
Pacquiao tries to use "Manila Ice" to counter Marquez' jab with the right hook. Only one problem.....Marquez is eons above the class of fighters Pacquiao has been practicing against the last several years and actually throws two shots, the jab to set up the right hand.
Marquez' anticipation and timing are exellent.

Anticipating, anticipating.....Pacquiao misses with the right (apparently punchstat counted a connect there for Pacquiao:nut) .....Marquez had two options there. He could have countered Pacquiao with a right over that straight left and in a bunch of instances he did...... this time however he throws the left jab plum on Pacquiao's face.
"What grace and exellent footwork there at the end of that sequence by Pacquiao to pull back and avoid Marquez hitting with a followup right hand", say's Lampley and Steward.
Pacquiao's footwork is just to fast for Marquez say's Steward, I predicted it.:nut

Great gifs although biased against Pac. Great analysis Divac. Sunn... :verysad JMM knocked Pac off balance plenty a times, there was power behind those shots and they did damage. Even Pac said the shots hurt him.

 

I would love JMM to crack you with one of them.... you have clearly never been in a ring and have no concept about what's it like to be punched in the face. I can guarantee ou that rocked Pac to his boots - Pac is just a tough guy and kept coming. Pac even admitted he wa hurt knob.
