I respect your opinion ,, but definitely not on my list .. He will always be a # 30 - 40 guy for me .. He cant go back in time and pick better fights .. Too many others in the history of this sport have resumes that make his look LACKING big time .... but again .. imo here .. you dont see SRR, Armstrong, Charles, Greb , Langford , B leonard etc .. changing drastically in spots too much here ,, so why should Mays .. Activity and Competition has fallen off the cliff in this sport for many years now .. that does not promote better rankings historically
1. Sugar Ray Robinson 2. Henry Armstrong 3. Willie Pep 4. Muhammad Ali 5. Joe Louis 6. Roberto Duran 7. Benny Leonard 8. Ezzard Charles 9. Harry Greb 10. Sam Langford
he beat about what 4 hall of famers , Kilbane beat 7 ,Kilbane had a longer title reign against TOUGHER competition and he beat premier guys who were in the division above him, meanwhile Pep couldnt beat Sammy ****ing angott lol.
I think you can go back and forward with Charles and Leonard too it gets really muddy after the top 4.
