As for him being dirty, 1-the headbutts were unintensional, 2-Andre Ward doesnt have a history of being Dirty, 3-ITS A FIGHT! not a tickling contest... getting roughed up comes with the terrority. When 2 guys clash theres about to be some accidental bumps & collisions here & there. I think the referee in California was fair to both fighters equally...he was no Marlon Wright (Bute-ANdradae1 referee) as for it to be unfair for him to fight in his hometown...Well! he's fighting Taylor & Dirrell and either of those 2 oppenents dont have fanbases so make'$ more $ence to fight in Oakland Oracle center. Most Euros won't give Ward props. They don't understand boxing. They think Ward's style, AKA "boxing", is boring. More boring, apparently, then watching men in tiny shorts run around for 60 minutes with a 1-0 score.
I'm British and Ward did catch Kessler with his head yeah but he was wiping the Floor with Kessler the result was always gonna be the same. Ward was class at times on Saturday night...he can only get better.
Most of the "Euros" are giving Ward his props for an awesome display, beating the favorite. There was a :nono for the accidental head-butts, but that's about it. Ward won me over as a fan. I give him full credit.

Most of the guys that are complaining about Ward's victory are Calzaghe fanboys cause much of Calzaghes legacy depends on how Kessler does in this tourney.

Dude, Kesslers been in 43 fights prior to this one and never have there been any serious injury caused by butts. Here we have one fighter cut up with all but one cut caused by headbutts. What does that say about the other fighter? One or two butts by accident is OK but not FIVE. Ward also used his shoulder in clinches, and THAT was intentional. I'm not saying Ward wouldn't have won without, but don't start defending it! It was obvioulsly due to Wards recklessness that the clashes happened, Kessler took more damage because he was more upright. Even though they were unintentional (some of them anyway) it's obvious who's fault they were.
:dead:tired Ward used parts of the body that's not included in boxing in that particular fight with Kessler. I am from the UK (which makes me European) and I appreciate boxing. I appreciate Mayweather's style when many of your own people hate it. The 'tiny shorts' sport you're referring to is probbaly football (that's right it is called football, we use our foot to kick a ball) is a world-wide recognised sport, just because your country isn't good at it (not saying they won't ever be) doesn't mean you should call it stuff like that. I don't flame baseball (which in the UK is actually considered a girls game only - not joking).
