there was a show at the thistle hotel last night where a couple of scotlands top prospects were boxing charlie flynn and joe ham. also on the bill was jamie mcguire, stuart burt and a debutant from arbroath mark fairweather. was anybody at the show and how did the lads look? i really like the look of flynn and ham, think they could both go far. any results would be great.
Flynn won on Points winning every round (6 rds). Ham won by KO in the 2nd (bodyshot). I wasn't there mate but that's from their twitter.
Burt took a nasty cut below his eye, got drawn into a fight supposedly and lost the first two rounds. Then set the distance and won the last two rounds. I'm sure he will learn a lot from that fight.
