I had it a draw but Johnson did WAAAY more damage so I see why he's upset and for Dawson to pull a Floyd and now duck him is just sad.
People on this board don't seem to understand matchups. They just see a fighter have an off night and they assume anyone can beat them. I remember before Judah fought Tszyu. They both had tuneup fights. Tsyzu didn't look too good in his fight and Judah beat the hell out of the guy he fought. Everyone saw what happened when they fought each other. Styles make fights. Tarver is a better matchup for Bad Chad than Johnson.
When Floyd was 25, he had his tough fight as well, many thought he loss. He gave the guy an immediate rematch.
That's their way of not dealing with reality. Instead of attacking what you post, they attack where you're from and call you bias.
Now this, i agree with. Tarver does not come forward and applies constant pressure so this will give Dawson more room to just box. I still think Tarver catches Dawson eventually with the left and takes him out. Tarver has a lot of power in that left hand. It's underrated.
Chad is my current favorite fighter, but I am happy to score fights unbiased. If Glen won every round, I would say he did no questions asked. As I said before, if anything I give close rounds to the other guy for the worst case scenario. You guys are pretty sad.
Theres always a chance for Tarver to KO anyone, including Chad. I will be on the edge of my seat the whole fight.
Why rematch Glen Johnson right away when he can make more money fighting Tarver for a unification fight? I know it would be the right thing to do at the moment, but he can get to that later on in the year.
That was a looong time ago, I always give Floyd props for his work at 135 . . . but ever since then he has shown cowardice.
That's incorrect, but then again we all know you have an extreme bias against Floyd. I don't know what you do for a living, but I wonder if it involves the courage that is neccesary to be a pro fighter, particularly one that opperates at the level he does for as long as he has.
non-sequitor. contrary to popular belief, simply being a professional boxer does not make you imune to cowardice. A friend of mine has alot of family in the police dept and he knows a cop who every time he hears a violent call on the radio drives the other direction. He is the Police version of Floyd. :deal
I am 7 rounds into this fight, watching it with British announcers. I have it 4 rounds to 3 Dawson. Dawson winning 1, 2, 4, 7 Johnson winning 3, 5, 6
That's why I mentioned the level at which Floyd is performing. If your friend was considered the top police officer on the force, you would have to be an idiot to call him a coward.
