Yeah that statement stuck out for me too. Complete bollocks, showing either total bias or a poor assessment of DeGale's abilities. The Sky team aren't fantastic but I don't think you can sack the lot and just bring in 5 new guys. You want guys with all their factulties and a respected boxing career, and unfortunately the two don't often go hand in hand. The present bunch are articulate and knowledgeable enough I suppose. That said I'd like them to bring in current fighters more often, like when ITV4 had Thaxton and Froch a couple of times.
I just want McCrory sacked! Sky will do better without him.... he's like the special needs anlysis guy or something (and I don't mean teaching it either!)
As a commentator he's there with Jim Watt (who I hate listening to, too when it comes down to commentary) but as a pundit he is in a league of his own.... nobody wants to hear your opinion Glenn GO HOME!!!
He has a tatoo of Che Guevara. Glenn has also been wearing the same suit for the last 2 years. Must really stink now as it doesnt look as if it has been washed.
Froch comes across well as a pundit. Thaxton isn't the best pundit, but ihe was absolutely appalling when he co-commentated (I can't remember the fight). As likeable as thaxton is, i don't think he is cut out for a TV career.
McCrory is probably the best pundit that Sky have at the moment. They should bring back McGuigan as he always giving very incisive analysis.
