Brooks first uppercut towards the end of the first, clearly lifted GGG off the ground. If that was Canelo GGG would have been knocked on his ass.

Like how that punch knocked Cotto flat on the canvas too right? Because I remember Canelo landing flush uppercuts all over Cotto's chin.

So what does this mean? Quartey knocked down De La Hoya, and Trinidad couldn't come close... you know what that example tells you? All fights are different, you GGG fans really need to learn that. You guys just like to argue..

It tells you that there's more evidence to support you being wrong than there is to support you being right. I'm making a claim out of reason while you're pulling yours from a hat with random scribbled phrases in it.

Yes but hes not a sucker for the cross, jab, hooks, etc, so thats a pretty good trade off and a smart way to fight.

I couldn't agree more the guy is just begging to be countered. It will take someone who will not be phased by his power to do it.

    I agree
But good luck with that , maybe at 168 , maybe a James Degale, would love to see this fight
the rest of 168 ers get trucked IMO
Also if u follow GG he gets countered in fights where he doesnt give a S××× about the others power, it s like he knows right away they cant do anything to him,
in the fight against Lemieux he was wary about his punches and he jabed and boxed , so GGG can adapt

Yes GGG boxed well against Lemieux. I think he knew he couldn't outbox Brook that easily so he just went into seek and destroy mode and tried to get Brook out of there. I would also like to see GGG fight DeGale he would give him his hardest fight because he would more than likely take his power much better than anyone at 160.

yea I also think that GG couldn outbox Brook so he just broke his face
when asked to rate his performance in this fight he said 4/10 ....so I guess it was cuz of that
I dont think he was proud he had to do that to Kell
he respected Kells bravery to get in the ring with him
