Canelo himself isn't fighting at 154. I think they can meet somewhere around 157-158.

Well his team made it abundantly clear that the only fight they'd go down to 154 for is with Mayweather jr, citing it as a "dream matchup" for Gennady.

Isn't Canelo ascending up in weight anyway? I'm pretty sure he's going to be fighting the winner of Cotto-Geale (unless Mayweather gets the winner,) which would begin Canelo's career as a MW.

I have no problem with GGG wanting to stay at 160 and attempt to clean out the division.

 

The boy needs to move up to fight GGG. He will eventually move up anyway.
