So......had Hagler rightly gotten the nod over SRL......it shouldn't count.
How bout the short fat Duran.
Should he be erased from the ledgers of the past greats who conquered him, especially considering he couldve have made 130 into his 40s had he been disciplined.
What about Oscar? Shall we erase his name from BHOPs CV b/c his finest hours were S at 147.

CONYellers career ascended when he KOd British journeyman and career WW Matty Hatton to earn his first title. He later defended it by adding such greats as Ryan Rhodes, forcing him to boil down from his career norm of SMW. Dragging up the legendary LW journeyman Josesito Lopez, and punishing the once great Kermit Cintron who's career ended the night it began against Concreto.

Fact is that weight divisions exist to allow different sized fighters the ability earn Championship recognition vs similarly sized fighters.

Kell Brook, CONYeller, GGG, Lubin, Spence, Charlos etc are all about the same size.

And aside from GGG, on that list, Kell Brook is by far the best fighter, proven at this time.

When the dust settles mid February, and the IBF decides to allow Brook and Spence to put off their meeting, or force them to fight for WW supremacy, we will know then, and only then, IF Kell Brook is indeed the #1 WW fighting the #5 WW or if he is the #1 LMW awaiting his first meeting with one of his 154lb contemporaries.

Brook isn't relatable to anything you just said.. Was he champ at 154 and 160? He wasn't even the best at 147:facepalm:
And was anybody clamouring for Brook vs GGG?
No , it was laughed at because it was a joke of a cherry pick by Triple Quack.

That win doesn't count and the non counter still gave Ham Man his second toughest fight to date . hahaha:risas3::risas3::chuck:

Prior to the Con vs ConYeller fight, while DeGale and Froch were both still riding GGGs name, Brook threw his name in the hat.
Yeah, it looked like a stunt, but Hearn and Kell always knew they had a shot at both landing that fight, and at possibly wining that fight.
A broken orbital bone has a tendency to put a hamper on ones ambitions, sadly lending credibility to the OPs pathetic thread title.

Floyd can take GGG's punch if he hasn't retired.

I seriously doubt that. Floyd's biggest asset was not his chin, it was his amazing defence.

And if GGGs touches the shoulders with a feeler jab, Floyd loses by RTD due to dislocate shoulder LMAO.

    GGG KO3-5 Roid Mayflower.

GG's legacy is pedestrian and ordinary...!!! Keep up the good work. At least he's getting paid.

That would be Deontay Wilder. GGG has cemented himself as the clear #1 in his division and is his head and shoulders above his peers. The same can not be said about Windmill.

Why do you guys still call Tony Margarito names like Margacheato & Concreto??
It has NEVER been proven he had anything illegal & dangerous to an opponent in his wraps. He did have a HARMLESS used pad accidently inserted by Javier Capetillo prior to the Mosely debacle which was of no advantage to him whatsoever
