Macklin will give it his all...

We get to see how Golovkin handles a top 10 MW finally. (Proksa was somehow Ring Mag #10... although I don't think anyone actually rated him there going into the fight.)

I think Golovkin will stop him, but I wouldn't be surprised by a somewhat competitive fight that goes to the cards.

Macklin is a good fighter and will be Golovkin's hardest fight up to this point in his career. I really like GGG, but I noticed he's a pretty easy target to hit back. I could see this fight being a war.

I still agree though that he'll probably TKO/KO Macklin in the latter rounds. Golovkin has scary power for a 160 lber.

Macklin's a tough SOB and he'll be game but I still believe Ouma was a tougher fight than Macklin will be. Kassim was just so stubborn and awkward that he'd will himself through punches that almost noone else could take, then fire right back with a 1-2 from a weird angle or a crouch...like an African southpaw version of Carmen Basilio or something.

    Golovkin will stop him late

...in the 3rd round !

( Between 6 and 10 is more likely though )

Golovkin knocks him down a couple of times around the 10th for a TKO. Macklin will be more cautious than he was against Sergio... speaking of Sergio, I'm hoping that's the only name GGG mentions in the post fight interview.

I got a funny feeling GGG is taking him out early...really early

I dont see Macklin pulling that style he did v Martinez i reckon he will go at Golovkin like a bull to try and prove a point, and get ****ing battered...Golovkin in round 2 or 3

I see a stoppage via body shot from Golovkin. Not sure what round though, possibly between 5-7.

I don't see Macklin lasting as long as Proksa and Rosado. I think he'll try and stand his ground to his own demise.
