Would love to see the fight they both have around the same in ring weight so it wouldn't be a SMW who comes in over LHW. Froch isn't shot but he is faded he's 38 and has been in massive wars and taken a lot of punishment. He wasn't fast to begin with and now is even slower. A lot of people are fans of his because he is a limited fighter who strives to be great in an era of talented fighters who think they are great and **** away their careers. Like always though don't count Froch out. He has a fight with Ward and then Chaves next. Frochs team went to HBO before the 2nd Groves fight and asked if a GGG fight would be PPV in the states they said NO. So he turned to Chaves instead. Got mandated to fight Groves again and now is mandated to fight Ward. From what he has said he doesn't want to vacate his title and seeing how Ward is trying to make other fights in the timeframe he is supposed to fight Froch I'm guessing he might vacate his. Froch-GGG for WBA SUPER CHAMPION. Froch has already said he wants PPV fights in America he could fight Groves or Degale in UK for PPV. Hearn said Froch is looking at GGG for end of year or early next year if PPV.
Froch GGG would be an unbelievable war ... think GGG is the fresher fighter so would give him the edge although we have no idea how his power would transfer on moving up . See AA he was a beast at MW and although a decent SMW he was not the same on moving up
Was on free TV but a second rate channel (Channel 5), next to no advertising or publicity and Murray really isn't a name over here outside of the boxing fans...Would have liked a better figure but it's not "surprisingly" low considering the various factors. Also it went up against some rating kingpins like Match of the Day
Lack of drug, alcohol and physical abuse puts him above several on that list before even looking at other considerations.
Froch wants no part of it, and I don't blame him. He deserves a Ward in the UK or Chavez jr under the lights. He's earned it.
:good I do. The man that's delivering us from evil, leading us towards the light of "serious boks" while changing his foes into good boys. What's not to love?!
