Yeah, I've just read it again mate. I can't see the issue at all. They're pi$$ed because the event was put in jeopardy, they were waiting around for 2 weeks, and then as soon as the fight with Kell was over, Jnr started talking again on social media etc. So K2 basically think that the Eubank's are all mouth and no action. But I honestly believe that Jnr did want the fight and that he genuinely didn't see the contract. I don't understand your reaction. Of course he's not on their list. Yes, fair enough, he may not get those other fights he wants, but they're going to be targeted. Apparently, they're currently negotiating a Jacobs fight.
But K2 know for a fact that Canelo and Hoya are all talk and no action. 2 weeks is nothing compared to the last year. Why don't they come out and say the same thing about Canelo? Its hypocrisy at its worst from them and its becoming an ongoing trend now. There's always some excuse not to take challenging fights - Lara, Ward , Eubank. Avoided fighters are willing to face everybody and anybody. GGG is clearly full of it. Eubank is one of the biggest fights out there for him . Even bigger now after he got huge exposure from the Brook fight
I understand that the Canelo saga has gone on for a while and it will continue to do so for a while longer. But the circumstances between a Canelo and a Eubank fight are/were very different. A fight of the magnitude of GG-Canelo is always going to be hard to make over a prolonged period of time. But for the moment, it can be put on ice, and GG can try and win the other belts in the division, in the hope that they will give him more leverage in negotiations. For Eubank, the clock was ticking. HBO had a long standing date that Matchroom obviously accommodated, and they were waiting on Jnr's contract to be returned. Their camp had been set up and they were ready to go. When Brook came in as the replacement at the eleventh hour, it was 9 weeks to the day of the weigh-in. We've discussed the Ward fight before, but I can't understand the criticism regarding Lara and Eubank. The last thing I heard regarding Lara, was 2 interviews that were given by his manager Luis DeCubas. They were both from a few months ago. In one of them he basically said they were happy for the minute continuing at JMW, and in the other he said Tom Leoffler had spoke to Al Haymon regarding a potential fight. He also mentioned the potential stumbling blocks with the networks. GG has an exclusive contract with HBO, but Lara hasn't got one with Showtime. So the fight would have to happen on HBO. But they have a budget, Lara would want big money, and other fights take precedence. He was very honest.
Are you talking about Eubank Jr? The same Eubank Jr that got himself in to a mandatory position for Danny Jacobs then ducked the fight and went back to domestic level? The same Eubank Jr that has been offered a Saunders rematch on multiple occasions and has ignored every offer and fought bang average opponents instead? The same Eubank Jr that was offered a huge payday, multi millions to fight Golovkin on a huge PPV and refused to sign a contract? The same Eubank Jr that is now fighting a man who is 11-1 for the IBO jokers title at 168? That Eubank Jr?
The resident trumpkin certainly needs help with his reading abilities. This is equivalent to Isal's stupidity suggesting 3G ducked Canelo... f*ckin bizarro world nonsense from these guys.
Hopefully, it can still happen at some point. Personally, I think it would be a great fight. I saw this a few weeks ago: http://www.boxingnews24.com/2017/01/golovkin-still-interested-eubank-jr-fight/
Eubank jr is like Canelo ALL MOUTH & nothing else. If theyre serious make a LEGITMATE challenge not make silly videos & tweets. Saunders has had one chance already & backed off a la Pollo Answer is easy Put Up or STFU
Pollo and GGG are the same. Pollo didn't want GGG... GGG didn't want Ward. You slate one , you have to slate the other. Pollo is easy for Triple G . Its a lot harder fight for Pollo . Thats why the big Ham is obsessed about the fight and wont move his career forward until he gets it... which won't be anytime soon. He's going to wait so long for Pollo he'll be an old timer by the time the fight comes around and will end up getting battered from pillar to post.. Pollo and Fishnets are making an absolute fool out of that man.
