Canelo was the WBC champion. He won it against Miguel Cotto, who won it against Sergio Martinez and then easily defended it against Daniel Geale completely dominating every second of every round until Geale was KTFO.
Canelo is also the ring and lineal MW champion.

Fact: Canelo signed to fight GGG ONLY 17 months after winning the Ring and Lineal titles.

The Ring ( GBP's Oscars) WORTHLESS belt is of no consequence. Clenelo claimed he was WBC chap, A fighting Mexican who doesn't **** around & wanted to fight GGG @ 160 right there!!! But When called on it by the WBC he meekly surrender it like a wimp :gey: rather than defend it. Remind me of a guy on another forum many years ago who insulted a friend's wife online & challenged him to a fight till my friend knocked on his door one night. He folded like a cheap lawn chair begging forgiveness on his knees.
It don't pay to challenge folks when you cannot back it up LOL

Fact: Canelo challenged GGG to a non-title fight at 155. GGG had previously stated he would fight anyone between 154-168, 155 is between 154-168. GGG refused.

How's that different from GGG willing to lose his belt for refusing to fight his mandatory?

Personally I don't see an issue with it, cause I understand they were both business moves and that's basically what boxing is.

But some of you stink of hypocrisy with your double standards.

Only Vanes and Rosado was fighting Golovkin in their very first fight at 160, along with Brook who as is Vanes was a last minute substitute.

Ouma had already fought Taylor for the 160 title.

Rubio made his 160 debut in 2007, he fought Golovkin in 2014, not exactly a smaller man is he.

Ishida had just lost on points to Pirog.

As for CLENELO he had fought 5 out of 6 fights at middleweight and his fight prior to Golovkin he was Infact coming down in weight.

    TRY AGAIN TROLL.
