Golovkins team: Becoming undisputed isnt a priority

    Ward v Froch 2 is totally different from Wilder v Joshua and Usyk v Gassiev now. Thoses are different things. Mix them up is nonsense.
    Ward had the chance to prove himself, but he didnt catch it.
    To achieve the 2nd fight with Canelo, GGG made too much concession. Even the 1st fight was robbed, GGG is still willing to fight Canelo at LV, which is Canole is backyard and might be robbed by the same judges again. Coz GGG want to prove himself and have the faith he can KO Canelo in the 2nd fight.
    Ward didnt do the same things.
    Wilder v Joshua and Usyk v Gassiev are still young and sooner or later will happen. It seems to be the same excuse but totally different from the Ward things.
    Meanwhile, the style of Ward is full of head and wrestling. If every boxer use head and wrestling to fight but not using fist, IMO nobody will watch boxing , and the boxing will disappear soon.

    What Golovkin and his team were talking about was the fact the Saunders will never fight him.....................Saunders has refused for years, the last time Saunders wanted way too much money, just not enough money to make the fight, Golovkins has wanted it for years, but Saunders definitely does not! So, they are about to give up as they know Saunders will never fight....................

    How can it be his backyard if he is mexican? loool if thats the case Madison square is GGG's back yard. He will not KO canelo and I'm willing to put a substantial amount of money on that.

    Wilder is 32, Usyk is 31 or do you mean the fights are young? I made the point to say that fighters negotiate for home territory all the time. Usyk said he will not fight in Russia period, so if the final happens there it wont be with Usyk involved.

    Ward's style isnt attractive but it is effective, hence why Kovalev and Froch guys who are aggressive fighters had a hard time with him. The great thing about boxing is you have many different styles, its what makes for a great sport, if any sport just had one style it would get boring at some point.

    Why Mexcian style is popular for years and years? Do you like the style of Ward, Hopkins and Rigondeaux? I think as few fighters of this style as possible is OK. They have talent for sure. But nobody is willing to pay for their fight. Even Mayweather's fight can be sold 4.6m PPV with Pacquao is because people want to see how Mayweather is defeated rather than to love his boring style of running.
    For becoming an undisputed legacy, home territory is not a key factor.
    GGG will collect the last belt sooner or later.
    Everybody know LV is Canelo backyard, look at 118-110 against GGG and 114-114 against Mayweather.
    TBH Mayweather schooled Canelo but didnt use headbutt, wrestling or too much running in that fight.
