I thought it was an OK read. Nothing special but a good time killer. The opening made me laugh when someone was calling him all the names under the Sun for not wanting to fight Lacy injured and it turned out to be his Dad!!
benn and eubank were great reads, dark trade was very good as well also def were checking out teddy atlas and jesus chavez, holyfield and de la hoya were ok, just finished reading andy tills wouldnt recommend that one
mclvanney on boxing, one of the finest books around...unforgiveable blackness, jack johnsons biography, hands of stone the duran one, excellent, joyce carrol oates 'on boxing', serentity, cant remeber the author, excellent read....benny lynch bio is great too, what a hard life the kid had.....
The killings of Stanley Ketchel. Fiction, but the best thing Ive read in ages. Hands of Stone was a good read 4me as im a hige duran fan.
another shout for dark trade, great read, also the fight by mailler, good stuff...tbh, il read anything boxing related.....a great fictional book is the black ajax by george mcdonald fraser, a great story
