Good luck indeed! I've always liked John. I'm torn as to what my preference would be for him as a supporter: that he go to war with Rios and make it competitive to last several more rounds than many are expecting, or that it be mercifully quick to spare him some permanent damage (like a one-punch KO1). If he somehow wins - or even just doesn't cop a severe one-sided beating... :bowdown
I never said that, and I appreciate fans of Murray will want him to give a good showing. But for me it's not a particularly intriguing matchup and Murray has no chance. A waste of time for me, and I want Rios to show what a mismatch it is. I give Murray massive respect for taking the fight. IMO he's nowhere near this level, I just think Frank should give him a break.
Judging from some of the responses on this thread perhaps manchester should follow fellow lancs scousers and declare independence from the UK!
I dont like the ***** Rios ''That dude is badass man, that dude is badass'' ****ing ******. Wish Murray the best hope he can pull it off, Rios is overrated but still beats Murray.
Good luck to John, but he has no chance IMO. Rios looked drained at the weight in a video i watched yesterday, but maybe im wrong. He will be huge compared to Murray come fight night.
id like murrey to win,not because he is great or the best in the world, but every boxer over here(british or euro class)deserve a shot,it as happened for decades and decades, don't see the problem. and im proud to be english,so im gonna support him.
John has simply got to move his head miles more than he has done in previous fights. The Mitchell fight was one he should have won if he fought smarter and didn't just wade in to put the pressure on. A tough ask but if Murray fights a bit smarter then he's putting up a good fight and has a chance no doubt.
