Hatton, late round KO. Marquez, is too small even for jr welter.

Jesus Christ Darryl. I'm sick to my stomach reading the **** he spews.

I'd call this a 55/45 fight in favor of Marquez at the moment. I dont really have too much faith in Ricky, whereas I would have picked him if this was him from a few years back.

That's actually a very bad analysis. What about the the fact that JMM went the distance with PBF who KO'd Hatton and twice went the distance with Pacand could have legitimately won both(lost the 1st, won the 2nd IMHO). The same Pac who left Hatton in a pile in round 2. Bad way to match em up. I think this is a pretty good fight, styles wise and should be an exciting scrap.

PS- Where is it gonna happen?

Well its still not def, but Golden boy promotion really wants it...but no site set. As for the issue of Mayweather taking out Hatton but not Marquez, I would say that has more to do with Hatton actually being able to applue pressure. Mayweather Hatton was more competitive the Mayweather Marquez...I would say Floyd had more aches and pains after the hatton fight then he did after marquez fight. As for pac, of course Marquez did much better with him then Hatton.

Why should it have happened a long time ago? Marquez has only recently stretched himself to 135 then very poorly to 144. Hatton is a career 140 that also fought a few at 147. Why should it have happened at all?

    UPDATE from fight / news,

looks like the WBO is playing ball, giving Marquez extra time to take a fight at 140, also reports that Ricky Hatton is currently back in training, though he may not make a offical annocement until feb. however fight news isnt 100 percent, and it doesnt reference any source that hatton is in training..but it would fit into what has been found by me before.
