Converting from Islam to another faith is apostacy, and the punishment is death. Ask "moderate" mainstram Muslims and they will tell you the punishment for apostacy is death. It is clear as day in the Koran.
You asked for them.....and that's just a brief search at 4am..... And even reading the article i posted i be honest the guy clearly has issues with Islam but there's truth in the attacks he mentioned. Hopefully we can get back to boxing...seeing as this is a boxing forum.
i knew you'd try use that trick. So you going to tell me that Christian converts don't get killed for leaving Islam behind?
Never heard of it my self if and when it does occur I strongly disagree with it. Also It is considered treason in an Islamic state, which there is the death penalty in most Western countries too. As I stated above I strongly disagree with it. Also you read this http://www.examiner.com/foreign-pol...an-terrorist-group-the-lord-s-resistance-army Also staying on topic Small and that Anjum character are both pricks and I am suprised why they dont get arrested.
I just read the link, it's a shame that people of my faith do that, i don't condone it...but it happens same as Muslims killing people who hear the Lord's call.
I agree but you dont hear muslims on this forum saying every chance they can get **** christians and calling them savages barbarians etc.
No because the fact is Islam extremists are going right across the board, The acts of Muslim terrorists are effecting the western world more then Christian terrorist groups in Uganda etc. The acts of Cowardice are what annoy people (non Christian maninly on this forum). What annoyed me and back to my first post tonight is the fact when a most Muslim posters reply to the atheists blunt views of there religion and the aggressive attitude of the Quran i see posts containing facts of Christian armies and killings which is baffling. Even though i know someone mentioned Christians it's not the only time i seen this and wanted to raise this point. It's like a competition and if were getting dragged through mud we drag the Christians into it...it's a shame because were all human beings and we all have out faith/beliefs and it shouldn't be about this sort of thing. But i think even the atheist lads need to tone down a little bit because i do find there beliefs are becoming like what they say about Religious people.
There are Muslim extremists, to coin a phrase by a world class boxer... 'No Doubt', but.... the decisions taken by many elected governments of the world, are not far different.... The killing of innocent people in my eyes is no different whether perpetuated by someone with a rag on their head and an AK-47 in their hand, or someone wearing army fatigues and holding an M16A2. This from family guy really nailed it, the attitudes from the different parties aren't really far off. Chris: What do you do at a Young Republicans meeting? Alyssa: We help those who already have the means to help themselves. Also, we perpetuate the idea that Jesus chose America to destroy non-believers and brown people. Chris: I don't know why, but I feel safer already.
He is a **** no doubt. But deport him? to where? and why? because he holds alternative views? so anyone who holds extreme views should be deported? Why so much hate towards Small? do you think Eamon Magee, Martin Rogan etc would wear a poppy? or hate our troops any less? but you don't see folk getting worked up over that.
I am certainly not going to defend Anthony's recent actions - which IF true I condemn. Many British and Indian (Christian and Muslim) solders lost there lives during the World War and to burn poppies is a highly disrespectful and upsetting - as an aside, as is the EDL's response with their inflammatory, provocative and hateful street protests. HOWEVER, I would like to say that I was sorry to hear of Anthony's retirement from boxing - when I first met Anthony (who I interviewed for a magazine) he came across very warm and sincere and made me feel welcome and took a genuine interest in my work and family etc. I continued to follow Anthony's career attending his fights with Takaloo and Hall etc and despite his inconsistent form became a fans. What struck me with Anthony was his strength of feeling in his faith and the opportunity he had developing into a role model for young Muslims in this very challenging time for British Muslims - what I found particularly refreshing about Anthony, was his courage to speak openly about his faith and make others proud and comfortable to do likewise - he seemed to be using his sporting success as a platform to inspire others to pursue their dreams (regardless of faith). And on hearing the news of his retirement, it is upsetting that this opportunity for Anthony (and many other young Muslims) has seemed to have closed (for now). I accept and witnessed his more public display of his beliefs (Youtube etc.)- regarding British Foreign Policy etc. and do not want to be drawn into a political or religious debate. What has touched me is I knew how much boxing met to Anthony and I only hope he can find happiness and peace. And the hate that currently fuels not only Anthony but others (on this board) can soon pass.
Good riddance indeed. If he was to fight again he'd have the EDL rioting with Islamists and leftists.
