I could see why goosen dont want a rematch clause though... i think if paul williams can do it once though it wont be a fluke
This time last year this fight was a DONE DEAL. Team Williams found a way to get Paul a stay of execution. It will not surprise me one damn bit if they do it again!
Why screw up a potentially great trilogy? I think PWilly is going to get his ass handed to him in 5-6 rounds, but what if I'm wrong? What if they have a 12 round barn burner, and PW pulls it off? What could be a bigger fight at 160 than a rematch?
What happens if the first right hand Paul gets hit with hurts him bad and he gets stopped? What would you Pavlickers think about this fight?
I don't think any Pavlik fan would be that surprised to have it end in the first three. Everyone will say "Pavlik beat a blown up WW." He won't get any credit.
I will come on here and proclaim PWilly as the 2nd coming of Ray Robinson, and announce to the world that Pavlik would starch Lamotta in 3! ( I learned that from the Calzombies:yep)

Every single person Pavlik beat since 2005 was immediately down graded to over rated, or club fighter, or shot to ****, here on ESB and in much of the press. This happened even when KP was the underdog, or not heavily favored. In this one I fully expect PW to be the pre-fight favorite, get knocked the **** out, and be immediately down graded to over rated welter weight who was scared of Cotto and Mosely.
Winky is a defensive fighter with a great jab and the boxing skills to make Pavlik look foolish. Kind of like what Bernard did. Winky's never been knock down either. So its not hating its a pretty solid assessment. But if you think Pavlik is gonna destroy Winky than your just being a "Pavlik Nuthugger". The fight will be closer than you think.
Yeah, Winky Wright is just like Bernard Hopkins. Juuuuuust ****ing like him. atsch Pavlik is too big and too strong to get beaten by Winky. B-Hop didn't just beat Pavlik with defence. He beat him by moving unpredictably and hitting him hard from the outside. Winky Wright is not a 185 lb LHW with great handspeed and great movement. Pavlik would just back him up and ***** slap him around.
I've always said that about Pavlik/Wright. Winky likes to stay in the pocket, catch punches on his gloves, and counter. Pavlik is to big and to long with to much power for that to work well. Winky would get knocked out for the first time, and I said that back in '06!
If Pavlik vs Wright happens and if Wright beats Pavlik, you better not come back here on esb cause i'll bash you so hard you would think i just knock you out.
